![]() ![]() The lace on the bottom of the Talia is a bit scratchy and the wires don't sit perfectly along IMF. It could be the lace bunching around the wire, I'm not really sure.Ĭomfort: I would rate the material on the Ardour to be sooo much more comfy than the Talia. Gore width: Both gores sat firmly on chest and were on the lower side which is great! The Talia has a weird "step" near the start of the gore which I find odd and I've never encountered that before. I think the slight gapping on the Ardour is due to the material used rather than a shape issue but I could be wrong. I lean towards being center full and FOT so not having quadding or cutting in is great. The top of the cups on the Ardour kind of peeled outward which resulted in some gapping especially near the gore (I tried to capture that in the photos). I have a bit of empty space near the armpit as well.Ĭups: Talia was a bit shallower than the Ardour but the cups lay flat on the chest with no quadding or gapping. The Talia was definitely a bit wider than the Ardour and felt like it was sitting more on my rib cage. The Ardour has better immediate projection at the wire and sits right along my IMF. Wires: Kind of hard to explain but to me it felt like the wires on Talia had a deeper U shape which resulted in some empty space/less projection at the bottom of the bra. Straps: I liked the feel of the Ardour's straps better (less scratchy) but in terms of width both of these were fine (thanks wide shoulders). I personally liked the feel and support of both so this wasn't an issue for me. If you want a tighter band you might want to size down on the Ardour or size up in the Talia. The band: The Ardour band is a lot stretchier than the Talia which is quite firm. I chose these two as they had a pretty good reputation for fitting fairly narrow and projected shapes. I'll be comparing the Just Peachy Talia and Panache Ardour bras. This is kind of a half fit check/half bra review post. But I was able to find two serviceable bras that fit my shape (and maybe yours) reasonably well. To sum up that search: it's tough out there.
